After working with TagGuard systems Mannix Security have been responding to alarms on a major Market Harborough site, with the average response time of 5 minutes.
On 19th August guards responded within 2 minutes to an alarm activation. Using dogs they tracked from the last sensor activation and found 2 males carry tools hidden inside the building. Using the dogs to detain the males they were led out into the open under control.
The males complied fully and after investigation the two males proved that they had legal reason to be on the property but not out of hours. They admitted climbing the fences and entering a partly built apartment block to pick up tools. They said that the dogs had pinpointed their movements exactly. If the guard on duty did not have dog with him the two would never have been located.
The client was contacted and will be investigating in the morning. Other potential offenders have been identified and the client is going to dismiss staff for continual trespass. All in all 6 alarm calls in 9 days. Generators found left on, containers found open, 3 suspects identified and other hooligans have been deterred from entering the site. All in a days work for Mannix.
