Having been in need of a rapid response in October 2009 we came upon Mannix via Google search, & my thoughts were that if they were good enough for the police then they were sure to be good enough for us!
I like the fact that they are owner-managed, & having now met a number of their patrol personnel, they employ very good & reliable people.
They have subsequently worked with us in implementing a large scale CCTV system which is now remote monitored by Mannix. The practical insight Mannix gave to us whilst we were specifying the system proved invaluable in enabling us to produce an accurate & workable “brief “, resulting in highly competitive quotations.

Our company has now used Mannix Security on two occasions. The first was to provide security at a potentially volatile site in administration. The Operations Director helped to investigate a serious fraud whilst the guards did a very professional job in some difficult circumstances.
Secondly after the collapse of another company we asked Mannix to provide guarding solutions at a house. With less than three hours notice they provided guards around the clock through some very cold nights, dealing with contentious access control in a calm well balanced and efficient manner. We have used dog handlers from Mannix Security on a six month project in the Midlands. The project involves guarding and preventing crime on an old monument which is of great historical and local interest. As on most sites most of the time a guard by their presence alone deters a lot of incidents and guards can become complacent. Not Mannix Security. The dog handlers seem to thrive during difficult incidents and have always reacted so quickly they have deterred some determined thieves, and on some occasions dealing with threats to their own safety. By being pro active and overt our fears in respects of vandalism and theft have not happened.
